The food, atmosphere & staff are excellent! They take reservations as they are busy at times. They have an upstairs to eat which is wonderful. Don’t hesitate to go there you will find your way back many times!
I love Santa Hierba. From the healthy food options, atmosphere, and the service, there’s no better place in Oaxaca! You can literally taste the love in their food. I’ve gone the past 4 days in a row and brought a new friend with me each time, that’s how good it is. And the staff is phenomenal - especially Kimmie - who greets me by my name and with a smile each time. She is so giving and you can really tell that she and the rest of the staff love what they do! Kudos to Santa Hierba for always spreading joy and love through their food and their service!
Have been returning more often than I’d like - just goes to show how good their food is Great service! Salmon bowl was pretty good, it’s like a poke bowl, though the sauce could be lesser as it’s a little salty. Chai latte was good! Taro latte was divine. They offer lactose free milk with a small charge! Not a fan of the mini gluten free Matcha donut.
visiting from NYC so you automatically have to trust my review lol. All of the workers are so kind and welcoming ( think: chic fil a ) lol Yara our server was helpful and very sweet. 10/10 would recommend. Esp if you need to give your tummy a break from the meats and cheeses
The best cocoa I ever had! But the ferrero cake, even though, very tasty, had nothing to do with ferrero, they should work on the name. I expected something crunchy with soft filling but this one is like a mix of a brownie and mousse. Update: we came for more and we still love it. Relaxed atmosphere, great friendly staff and delicious food!!! Vegan chicken nuggets are the best so far I’ve tried in Mexico We had vegan noodles soup, an other vegan soup and a cheakpeas salad. It was so satisfying and we took even the half of the salad away because the portion are big. the prices are fair
My go-to spot! Every dish is so fresh and colorful, definitely taking advantage of the abundance of delicious ingredients Oaxaca has to offer. Cozy corner restaurant in Jalatlaco with indoor & outdoor terrace seating. A vast menu with a variety of healthy options ranging from toasts, to salads, to bowls & pastas. Plus many hot & cold beverage choices including fresh-pressed juices. We personally enjoy the ginger lemonade! Brunch menu is served until 1pm. Truly can’t go wrong with any item on the menu! The staff is always attentive and friendly. Restaurant has a laid-back vibe, very cute! Bonus- restrooms are always clean.
Best place to eat in Oaxaca for people with food allergies. I’m gluten free and dairy free and was able to enjoy a lovely breakfast and dinner with no problems. They also have dairy free and gluten free pastry options.
Very nice restaurant for vegetarians! Several options both for veg and non-veg. The food was really good! We also had very good drinks. The price and service were good as well. The ambient was very nice and beautiful, you have a terrace to stay as well. The only downside is that when our food came, there were too many flies around us. But I’d definitely come back to try more plates.
